COMPANY AUDITIONS
Our company program here at Just For Kicks is determined to set kids up to succeed at competitions that occur throughout the spring months March-June. By enrolling in our company program, your child is continuing their development at an above-average capacity to ensure they are being pushed to perform at their best. With a wide variety of levels, we direct each child to fit in their preferred group with peers who will help bring out the best in each dancer.
Our Levels include:
Rising Stars:
Ages: 6-12
For dancers who are just starting to hit the stage and are still developing the basic steps towards dance and movement.
1-2 competitions during the year
Shooting Stars:
Ages: 5-8yrs
For dancers who are taking a serious step towards dance with a strong foundation in basic steps. Able to apply corrections and learn basic routines with extra help.
2-3 Competitions during the year
Ignite Company:
Ages: 9-12yrs
Dancers with a strong foundation and at least 1 year of competitive experience. The ability to apply corrections and remember choreography comes with ease and they are beginning to develop a higher understanding of being a competitive dancer
3-4 competitions during the year
Passion Company:
Ages: 10-13yrs
Dancers developing higher levels of movement and starting to explore more variety of styles. 3-4 years of competitive experience and a strong ability to apply corrections and develop techniques.
3-4 competitions during the year
Empower Company:
Ages: 12-14
Strong development of movement quality as well as a strong understanding of technique and dance vocabulary. Applies corrections and is a team player and role model for younger dancers
5-6 years of competitive experience
3-4 competitions during the year
Spirit Company:
Ages: 11-16yrs
Dancers developing higher levels of movement and starting to explore more variety of styles. 3-4 years of competitive experience and a strong ability to apply corrections and develop techniques.
3-4 competitions during the year
Inspire Company:
Ages: 15+
Advanced dancers with a strong development of technique and a variety of dance knowledge. Commitment to a team and a role model around the studio. Ability to assist teachers in younger level classes and responds to positive feedback.
7+ years of competitive experience
3-4 competitions during the year

Show Stoppers:
Want to join Competitive dance but are too busy to fully commit? Our Showstoppers program allows you to choose only 2 Competitive groups alongside 1 Mandatory class:
Mandatory: Jazz Tech Class
Options: Acro, Tap, Musical Theatre, or Hip-Hop
Price: $225/month + GST
**Must chose 2 options to enroll in 3 classes.

WHEN ARE THE AUDITIONS?
Our Auditions are taking place on Sunday, May 26th, 2024. Each age group has its designated time slot in which you must register in according to age as of December 31st, 2024:
12-1 pm ages 5-7
1-2 pm ages 8-12
2-3 pm ages 13+

Who Can Audition?
Any dancer who has had previous dance experience is encouranged to come and audition. Auditioning is a great experience for any young dancer who is hoping to pursue a career in dance. It allows them go outside their comfort zone in a controlled enviroment in order to perform at their best.

Day of Audition
On the day of the audition, please ensure you and your child do the following:
- arrive 15min early to sign in and set up
- wear comfortable clothing that is easy to move in
- tie hair back and bring any dance shoes they regularly perform in (foot Undies, jazz shoes, turners, half-souls, ballet shoes, or bare feet)
- bring a water bottle and a good attitude!
