Hair/Makeup
Please have your child hair in a bun at the crown of their head with no bangs. Full stage
makeup is not necessary for the dancers. Please bring them to the theatre with red lipstick and blush.
Costumes
Your child will receive a costume for the winter show. This costume is a rental and the fee is
$25.00/class. Please make sure that the office has received your $25.00 fee before November 25.
Volunteers Needed
Volunteer sign up is in the waiting room - please sign up for one show. (The show your child is not dancing in) Volunteers are essential to the success of the show! Jobs include- backstage helpers, dressing room/gym volunteers, ticket and front of house volunteers, prop makers, dress makers/seamstresses, etc. Please let us know what you can assist with. We will need at least 15-20 volunteers per show.
Attendance at Classes
It is vital that students come to all their classes now, as we only have 3 weeks until show time! Many children have been away these past few months, and this greatly impacts our ability to create a seamless group piece. The show gives kids an opportunity to get on stage and be part of an ensemble cast and experience the excitement that comes with being on a “stage”.
When you come to our Year end recital, you’ll be blown away by the progress made from Dec- June. Please make every effort to ensure your child attends their recreational and ballet classes (these are the classes in the show). No competitive dances will be in the Winter Show. |
