ERIN CURRIE
Cecchetti Ballet Instructor
Known for her poetically fluid dance style and powerful stage presence, Erin draws much of her inspiration from the freedom felt dancing on the beach. Currie, like most fanatical dance artists, has been dancing her entire life.
Her love for dance brought her to the York University dance program, where she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree (with Honors) in June of 2003. Erin has danced in many shows at York University, the Fleet-Wood DanCentre; some paid solo performances for various events in Ontario, as well as a thrilling performance for the Opening Ceremonies for the 1997 World Special Olympics at Toronto's SkyDome. Throughout the years, Erin has received many awards, among them a scholarship to the Quinte Ballet School, The School of Dance in Ottawa and the Wasaga Beach Athletic award for her outstanding achievements in dance.
